“Crystall” LLC distillery plant, town of Simbirsk (Ulyanovsk after 1924) is one of the first plants in the industry. It was established in 1899, along with Moscow and Kaluga “Crystall” plants. The plant was built during the second limited wine monopoly in Russia (1894 through 1918), by decree of S. Vitte – Russia’s Prime-Minister at that time.
